Elected to one of the most romantic agritourisms in Tuscany, Castello del Trebbio is the place that represents a part of the historical destiny of the region as well as the treasure trove of very fine wines. At its origins we find the de 'Pazzi family responsible for a plot against the Medici and to whom some labels are dedicated. The current management, strong in a past steeped in regional traditions and histories, practices the “Biointegral” philosophy through Biodynamic agriculture, strongly believing that the origin of a good wine is the utmost respect for the land and nature.

All recognizable at a glance, among the most resonant labels we find Toscana De 'Pazzi (4 Grappoli Bibenda) , a blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Merlot that uses different refinements for each blend for a ruby red color, red fruits and jam on the nose, great freshness and balanced tannins. The more mature version is Chianti Rufina Riserva Lastricato (91 pt JS) , entirely produced with Sangiovese grapes, fermentation partially in terracotta amphorae and aging in oak barrels for 30 months, then followed by a further 12 months in the bottle: a cherry nose, fresh and balsamic, compact and balanced on the palate, with a long finish that also classifies this wine as 'for meditation'. Great wines in line with the environment and its needs: with the Castello di Trebbio, taking an authentic step back in time is still possible.
