Unesco World Heritage Site since 2019 , viticulture here has very ancient origins, but the first written source that speaks of Prosecco dates back to 1772. The establishment of the DOC dates back to 1969 and two of the 15 municipalities that represent the beating heart of the give the name: Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. Landscape and man indissolubly intersect: here the vine is often cultivated in "heroic viticulture" , among the slopes of the hills, for this reason it is also said that Prosecco is a "handmade" wine. Here the microclimate and soil generate a natural oasis for the cultivation of Glera, favoring the growth of healthy vines and giving Prosecco those unique characteristics that we all know. Fresh, fine and refined, the true essence of a unique territory of high hills surrounded by magical vineyards . Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene is a very popular wine also abroad, an ambassador of Made in Italy and for this reason it is our favorite denomination of the year 2020: a truly deserved award!
