Erste + Neue

With the merger of the First Social Winery of Caldaro "Erste" with the New Social Winery of Caldaro "Neue" (founded respectively in 1900 and 1925) one of the most prestigious and traditional wineries in South Tyrol was born . The combination of the skills and passion of 450 proud winemakers translates into high quality labels that manage to combine the dictates of tradition with an innate propensity to experiment.

The company aims to produce high quality wines, respecting as much as possible the peculiar characteristics and specific finesse of the different grape varieties : from the autochthonous Gewurztraminer, Lagrein and Schiava, to the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir , from which flow full of character whites , timeless reds and rare dessert wines .

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Puntay wine obtained this year's Tre Bicchieri recognition from the Vini d'Italia del Gambero Rosso guide , awarded exclusively to wines considered to be the excellence of the Italian wine scene.
