Set in the enchanting Sienese hills of Montepulciano, Fattoria del Cerro is today the largest private producer and therefore a paean to the appellation. An area that has been famous for centuries for the production of excellent wine, a place favoured by excellent exposure and altitude, combining all the ideal conditions to give structure and body to this famous wine from Prugnolo Gentile grapes.

Examples of this are the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Silìneo in which mainly fleshy red fruit emerges, the Riserva version with a recognisable tannic texture and considerable structure, and Antica Chiusina (91 pt Maroni) with processed tertiary aromas and a very complex sip. Equally articulate and persistent wines such as Chianti Colli Senesi and Rosso di Montepulciano complete the selection. Wines to be loved from the first to last sip.
