The commitment to viticulture and agriculture in general has always represented the characteristic aspect of the Frescobaldi family, which has been producing wine in Tuscany for seven hundred years, precisely since the early 14th century.

A story of wine that has had the merit of introducing the first vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay in Tuscany, and of enhancing the wine-growing areas of the region, from Chianti Classico to Montalcino, from Maremma to Chianti Rufina, combining tradition with more innovative wines such as Alìe, the iconic rosé from Tenuta Ammiraglia, with its pale, pure color and soft ruby reflections, celebrates its tenth vintage with the 2023 harvest.

On this occasion, Marchesi Frescobaldi celebrates its rosé with a poetic passage inspired by epic poems: the Alìade. "Alìe, sea nymph, shining, with a gentle soul. She lived on an island, and when she saw sailors navigating, she lent them the waves of her sea. She offered them an elixir, pink and delicate. Then, after a laugh, she returned to the rock to wait for another lucky one."
