Gancia, a historic brand in the Italian wine industry, is considered one of the examples of excellence of Made in Italy. Carlo Gancia, founder of the company in 1850, transferred his energy and interest in research and experimentation to Gancia, which in its 175 years of activity has always been one of the most innovative Italian companies.

Among the key milestones in Gancia's history are the creation of the first Italian Metodo Classico Sparkling Wine made from Moscato grapes in 1865 and the first White Vermouth made from white Moscato di Canelli, traces of which date back to 1893. In 1980, Gancia created the first sparkling wine from "Pinot di Pinot" grape variety, made from Pinot Noir, Blanc, and Gris grapes. In 2014, the vineyard landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato and the Historic Gancia Cellars were recognized as a World Heritage Site. This strong identity has given rise to Gancia's style, which from the beginning has known how to establish itself as a symbol of quality and authenticity, aiming for a leading role in the international market of Sparkling Wines and Aperitifs.
