In Varna di Bolzano, just above the Novacella Abbey, one of the oldest wineries in South Tyrol is at home : Köfererhof . We are in the heart of the Isarco Valley , at an altitude of 700-800 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Dolomites , with important temperature ranges between day and night particularly favorable for viticulture.

Here, thanks to the commitment and passion of Gunther Kerschbaumer and his wife Gaby Tauber, fragrant, concentrated and highly balanced wines are born , with an elegant, mineral and fresh character . Typical and varietal wines, obtained from a simple vinification that does not affect the territorial identity, among which stands out the Sylvaner which has achieved the prestigious recognition of the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso in the 2018 edition , still being published.
