Montalbera

A unique conformation of the vineyards surrounds the hills and draws a panorama that takes the form of an amphitheater , between the municipalities of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. Montalbera extends over 110 hectares of vineyards between Monferrato and the Langhe, the vineyards cover six entire hills, with vineyards for about 60% cultivated in Ruché DOCG, under the guidance of the Morando family. Rigor and planning, interpretation and terroir , these are the premises from which the Montalbera production philosophy is based. A thought that puts the fruit at the center of all wine, enhancing the great peculiarities of the vineyards, interpreting their characteristics and declining them in ever new ways: from the Ruché Limpronta (94 pt. LM) , whose maturation is carried out in oak tonneaux French fine grain selected "grande réserve" for 10-14 months, in Laccento (Tre Bicchieri) perhaps the highest quality level reached by the cellar, which allows it to receive the most coveted recognition by critics . The name Laccento refers to Montalbera's desire to place a decisive emphasis on quality with this label.
