Montalcino vs Chianti

Symbol of Tuscan wine, Sangiovese is very adaptable to the terroir, able to cope with different pedoclimatic conditions.

It has enviable aroma and flavor properties, perfect for high-quality wines.
Signature notes of Sangiovese include violets, cherries, ripe red fruit, as well as notes of tomato leafs, licorice and balsamic that bring complex wines to life with pronounced acidity and in many cases incredible longevity.

In Tuscany, the most famous appellations are Montalcino, Chianti Classico and Chianti, very different from each other in terms of soil and climate, which create varied wines in terms of taste and structure.
