Son of a centuries-old tradition, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is one of the oldest Italian wines , so much so that already in the 17th century the poet and naturalist Francesco Redi praised it, claiming that " he is the king of every wine ".

Produced in the suggestive territory of Montepulciano, the medieval village in the province of Siena which recently hosted the sets of the TV series "I Medici" and the film "New Moon" from the Twilight saga, it is vinified from Prugnolo Gentile , an ancient clonal selection of the Sangiovese vine, of which it represents the most elegant expression.
