Ribera del Duero

The wines of Ribera del Duero are among the highest expressions of Spanish viticulture, produced mainly from Tempranillo (Tinta del País) grown in a region with an extreme continental climate. The high altitude, sharp temperature swings, and poor soils help create wines of great structure, depth, and longevity, appreciated worldwide for their bold and authoritative character.

From an organoleptic perspective, the wines of Ribera del Duero stand out for their intense color, aromas of ripe black fruit, spices, cocoa, and toasted notes from aging in wood. On the palate, they are full-bodied, powerful, and elegant, with ripe tannins, good freshness, and a long, persistent finish that makes them ideal for aging and important food pairings.
