An all-female Friuli
An all-female cellar that of Ronchi di Manzano, a production company located on those Eastern Hills that have made, over the years, the winemaking fortune of Friuli Venezia Giulia. A terroir where three elements, microclimate, subsoil composition and exposure to the sun , play a fundamental role, and which in the Ronchi di Manzano vineyards combine perfectly, giving life to quality bottles produced in total respect for the environment and nature.
Roberta, with her two daughters Lisa and Nicole, carries on a production of about 200,000 bottles, divided between a classic line and one intended for the most exclusive crus , where the quality touches really interesting quotes. A wide range of products, which manages to give a truly complete overview of the area surrounding Manzano and Corno di Rosazzo , and of the vines that find their place of choice here: Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Picolit and Friulano. Grapes that, thanks to the attention to detail and love for the territory of Roberta, Lisa and Nicole, manage to free an expressive and incisive sip.
And it is from Friulano that Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Friulano is born , a wine with a characteristic bouquet of yellow flowers and dried fruit, very elegant and beautiful persistence. While Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Ribolla Gialla Rosazzo , produced from 100% Ribolla grapes, is surprising for its balance, enhanced by notes of yellow peach and hints of wood. While the Rosazzo DOCG , which obtained the Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso in the 2013 vintage , is produced from a blend of Sauvignon, Friulano, Chardonnay and Ribolla and exalts for its softness and persistence, with the sweet hints of exotic fruits.
