We have reached the end of 2017, it is time for rankings and awards. Today we discover the 30 most loved white wines of 2017.

A few days ago we discovered Gewürztraminer to be the most loved white grape variety of the year, obviously we also find it in this ranking, together with two other South Tyroleans: in fact South Tyrol is the region that wins the primacy as number of labels among the whites of the year. With three labels, Friuli, Marche, Abruzzo and Sicily follow, but the real surprise is Umbria, which places two labels, such as Veneto and Lombardy, present in the ranking thanks to the resounding success of Lugana. In terms of vines, together with the Traminer, Sauvignon and Chardonnay stand out among the international ones; Vermentino, Pecorino and Verdicchio among the natives.
