Tramin

Tramin is one of the oldest cooperative wineries in South Tyrol, named after the town of Termeno where it is based. Termeno is considered the birthplace of the Gewürztraminer grape, which produces the fragrant white wine that has become the flagship of the area.

These grapes are mainly grown in the micro-region of Sella, which is particularly suited for viticulture. Here, the grapes are kissed by the sun during the day and caressed by the Ora wind that blows from Lake Gard. At night, the intense cold of the mountain brings freshness, minerality and elegance to the wine.

Tramin has won many awards over the years and has been awarded the prestigious Three Glasses by Gambero Rosso more than twenty times. In addition to Gewürztraminer, the winery produces many other high-quality wines such as Lagrein, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.
