Companies that produce organic wines must limit the use of winemaking aids and respect limits on the addition of sulfur dioxide, guaranteeing wines that comply with quality and sustainability standards and a more genuine product. In order to be marketed as "organic", wines must meet the standards established by the European Union, and obtain certification from authorized bodies, which ensure that all production practices comply with regulations.
