Bottega heeft een geschiedenis van vier eeuwen in de wereld van wijn en grappa.

Het bedrijf werd in 1977 opgericht door Aldo Bottega, die samen met zijn vrouw Rosina de Bottega-distilleerderij in Pianzano di Godega (tv) oprichtte. Met dezelfde passie voegden zijn zonen Barbara, Sandro en Stefano zich bij de wijnmakerij naast de distilleerderij . Voortdurend onderzoek en absolute aandacht voor kwaliteit maken Bottega een bedrijf dat Prosecco, mousserende wijnen, geweldige rode wijnen produceert, waaronder Amarone en Brunello, grappa's, sterke drank en fruit- en roomlikeuren.

In 2001 werd Prosecco Gold gelanceerd, wat een echte internationale legende is geworden, dankzij de wijdverbreide aanwezigheid op de luchthavens en op de wijnkaart van enkele van de bekendste luchtvaartmaatschappijen, zozeer zelfs dat het het derde mousserende wijnmerk is geworden voor verkoop in de Travel Retail channel , na Möet & Chandon en Veuve Clicquot.
