Het Prunotto wijnhuis ligt in de kronkelende heuvels rond Alba, op de rechteroever van de Tanaro rivier, omringd door de wijngaarden van de Langhe en Roero. Een fascinerend en boeiend gebied, niet alleen vanwege het natuurlijke landschap, de kleuren en de wijnen die het biedt, maar ook vanwege de historische getuigenissen en tradities, waaronder culinaire, die het karakteriseren.

De familie Antinori, veroverd door een dergelijke context, besloot in 1989 dit terroir aan te pakken, in de overtuiging dat zij een reis zouden beginnen die Prunotto zou leiden tot een van de belangrijkste bedrijven in het panorama van de Piemontese wijnproductie. Onder de historische wijnen is de elegante Langhe DOC Occhetti, met hints van framboos goed gecombineerd met sensaties van roos en zoethout dat, vanaf de eerste slok, u als bij toverslag terugbrengt naar de top van de heuvels van Piemonte, dankzij de harmonie en delicate tannine persistentie.
