Description
What kind of wine is it
Pommery Rosé Royal is the rosé version of the classic Champagne Brut Royal from the maison Pommery. It comes from blending a red wine based on Pinot Noir with various white wines, particularly Chardonnay-based. The style is characterized by freshness and vibrancy, with good structure.
Where does it come from
The Pinot Noir used comes from Bouzy, in the Champagne region, and is selected for its excellent ripeness. This red wine is blended with Chardonnay-based white wines to obtain the cuvée of the maison Pommery.
How it is made
Rosé Royal is obtained through the selection and blending of a red wine based on Pinot Noir with various white wines. Once the cuvée has been created, the wine ages on the lees for 36 months.
Tasting notes
On the eye it shows a pale pink with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose it offers fresh notes of small red berries. On the palate it is smooth and well structured, marked by freshness and vibrancy.
What to pair it with
It is ideal as an aperitif and pairs well with shellfish. It also matches red-berry desserts, where its freshness harmonises with the fruity notes.
When to serve it
This is a rosé Champagne suited to aperitif time and convivial occasions. For the festive season, Pommery Rosé Royal is offered in the Peru edition gift box, part of the selection The World Art Collection - Perù 2026. The World Collection project celebrates a different culture each year, and this edition is decorated with motifs inspired by Peruvian culture, whose lively spirit echoes the character of rosé Champagne. It is a gift idea suited to year-end occasions.
