Description

The Tuscan red wine Cifra is produced by the Duemani company, a company founded by Elena Celli and Luca D'Attoma, a renowned winemaker. The winery is located in Riparbella, in the south of the province of Pisa, and is a Demeter certified biodynamic company.

The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc. The fermentation of the grapes is spontaneous and takes place in cement vats at a controlled temperature with a short maceration on the skins for 10 days. The wine subsequently ages in cement and is bottled without undergoing clarification or filtration.

Intense ruby red in colour, the wine reveals fruity aromas of red roses and cherries. The sip is fresh and direct, with light tannins.

Excellent in combination with first courses and grilled red meats.
