Description
The Negroamaro di Terra d'Otranto by Notte Rossa comes from vineyards of the Salento peninsula, planted on soils of red earth, in a warm and low rainfall environment, characterized by remarkably high temperature variations.
It is produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes, harvested in the last week of September. After a long maceration and contact with the skins, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C. The wine ages for 6 months in French oak barriques.
Wine with a deep purple red color, it offers a complex perfume made of spices, berries and cherry jam. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and harmonious, with well integrated tannins.
Recommended with robust first courses and second courses of red meats, it goes well with aged pecorino cheeses and game.
