Description
Santa Teresa 1796 encapsulates 200 years of experience in rum production by the renowned Venezuelan company. It is the result of a handcrafted process in every stage of its creation: from distillation to the sealing of the cap with wax, with aging taking place for 35 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels and subsequently following the traditional Solera Method.
The rum is contained in rows of overlapping barrels that are not completely filled, descending from row to row: the youngest at the top, progressively enriched by the older ones, until it reaches the first row, called Solera, which holds the very first barrels of Santa Teresa rum dating back to 1796.
In the glass, it shows a deep amber color. On the nose, its intense and elegant fruity aromas blend with notes of fine wood. On the palate, its unique taste can be savored, with spicy and dried fruit notes culminating in a finish with various types of honey and white pepper.
Excellent neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails such as the Negroni, Manhattan, and Panchita's Spark, featuring blackberries and Prosecco.
