Three Dreamers Vino Rosso Appassito Fantini Farnese

Three Dreamers is a red wine produced by the Fantini winery in Abruzzo, made from Montepulciano grapes grown in the vineyards of the Cantalupo area, in Notaresco. This territory is marked by the meeting point of the Adriatic Sea’s influence and the protection of the Gran Sasso mountains; this environment enables optimal grape ripening and contributes to the creation of an intense and structured wine, perfectly expressing the character and richness of the Montepulciano variety.

The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a meticulous drying process in temperature- and humidity-controlled rooms for about 120 days, during which they lose part of their water, concentrating aromas and extractive substances. This is followed by gentle pressing and a long fermentation maceration in steel, then about eighteen months of aging in American oak barriques, which lends complexity and roundness to the wine.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color with violet highlights; the bouquet is rich and deep, with notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, black cherry, and raisins, accompanied by spicy hints of cinnamon and shades of vanilla and dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full and embracing, with velvety tannins, good freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.

Perfect when paired with red meats, braised dishes, game, and mature cheeses.
