Description

What kind of wine is it?

Montes' Costa Aconcagua Sauvignon Blanc Classic Series is a white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with cold maceration and fermentation with selected yeasts, maintaining a clean aromatic profile and a defined palate. The style remains fresh and direct, with a crisp palate and a persistent finish.

Where does it come from?

This Sauvignon Blanc from Montes comes from vineyards located on the Aconcagua hills, in the Costa Aconcagua area. The hillside location helps deliver an expression oriented towards freshness and smoothness, in keeping with the character of the grape variety. The result is a simple and clean white, designed to enhance immediacy and aromatic clarity.

How it is produced

The harvest takes place early in the morning to process the grapes under favorable conditions. This is followed by cold maceration in steel vats for 6–12 hours, followed by pressing and transfer back to steel. Selected yeasts are added during this phase, and fermentation continues for approximately 21 days, following a linear and controlled production process.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color. On the nose, fresh fruit is perceived, with notes of pineapple and lemon . The sip is fresh and crisp, smooth yet precise, and lingers in a finish that confirms cleanliness and persistence.

What does it pair with?

At the table, it pairs well with grilled vegetables , vegetarian risottos, and fish risottos. Its freshness complements vegetable or seafood dishes without weighing them down, while the fruity note helps keep the overall flavor balanced and flowing.

When to serve it

It's ideal for those seeking a fresh , easy-to-drink white wine, perfect with light dishes or those featuring vegetables and fish. The choice of stainless steel and its crisp character make it a delight for informal occasions, emphasizing fruitiness, aromatic clarity, and a consistent finish.
