Description

Alois Lageder's Alto Adige Lagrein was born in vineyards located in the Bolzano basin, on the banks of the Talvera torrent.

It is produced exclusively with Lagrein grapes, harvested towards the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 14 days, then the wine ages in oak barriques for 17 months.

This Lagrein is characterized by a cherry red color with ruby red reflections. The nose opens with a rich perfume, among which hints of plum and flowers stand out, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is pleasantly full-bodied and soft.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
