Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella from the “I Satinati” line by Montresor is a symbol of Verona's winemaking tradition, born in the oldest area of the hilly Valpolicella from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. It is a wine that combines history, elegance, and identity, thanks also to the iconic satin bottle patented in 1921.
Vinification begins with a selective manual harvest, followed by drying in crates during the winter. After a gentle pressing, the must slowly ferments on the skins. Aging continues in oak barrels for about 18 months, followed by bottle refinement.
In appearance, it is intense ruby red. The nose reveals notes of ripe red fruit and spicy hints, while on the palate it is full, warm and velvety, with a persistent aftertaste of black cherries and sweet spices that enrich its elegance.
Ideal with structured and spicy dishes, game and mature cheeses.
