Description

This Amarone della Valpolicella represents the Cru of Venetian Zonin excellence, located in the heart of the homonymous appellation.

It is made with Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, harvested rather late, slightly overripe, and placed in airy and dry environments for drying in plateaus for about 4 months. Subsequently, the red vinification begins, preceded by a week of pre-maceration of the skins of the must. Finally, the wine is left to mature in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 2 years. A further period of 6 months follows for ageing in bottle.

It has a beautiful garnet red colour with bright reflections. The nose is broad, with hints of berries and dried plums, which are well supported by balsamic notes of excellent persistence. In the mouth it arrives majestic and incredibly enveloping, with fragrant aromatic notes that make it appreciate even more the flavour.

It accompanies with great elegance typical dishes of the great traditional cuisine, noble meats, highly seasoned cheeses.
