Description

The Antico Liquorvino Amarascato by Duca di Salaparuta is a flavored red wine made by Duke Enrico as a tribute to his wife Sonia, as a pairing with his favorite food: chocolate.

It is produced with a selection of Sicilian red wines, aged for a long time in oak barrels and then flavored with a precious infusion of marasca cherry leaves.

It is characterized by a garnet red color with amber reflections. The nose opens with an intense and ethereal bouquet, with hints of morello cherry and hints of almond. On the palate it is sweet, warm and velvety, with a pleasantly bitter finish.

Perfect to accompany pure chocolate, this flavored red wine is ideal in combination with dry pastries, in particular with almond desserts.
