Description

The white Terre du Lias, produced by the Domaine de La Borde, comes from highly suited vineyards in the Jura valley in France.

It consists of 100% Chardonnay grapes, cultivated according to a biodynamic agriculture method. The calcareous and marly soils, with a steep slope, are located at an altitude of about 450 meters above sea level. Following the rigorously hand-made harvest, the grapes are pressed and transformed into must, which ferments inside oak barrels by the action of indigenous yeasts. After having also carried out the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in the presence of its fine lees for a period of about 12 months, in French oak barrels.

At sight it is straw yellow, very bright. Its olfactory profile is made up of white fruit, such as peach and banana, on a sweet and slightly citrus background reminiscent of custard. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, enveloping and with a gritty body.

To be combined with a spaghetti with seafood.
