Description

What kind of wine it is

Barbaresco by Produttori del Barbaresco is a structured red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes. This label stands out for its precise technical approach, able to highlight the natural qualities of the grape variety with accuracy. Careful workmanship leads to a profile with strong character, supported by powerful tannins and a solid structure. This is a classic expression, designed to offer a sip rich in the nuances typical of ripe red fruit.

Where it comes from

This red originates in the Barbaresco area and is born from the work of around fifty supplying members. The cooperative winery Produttori del Barbaresco is a virtuous model, bringing together optimal winemaking processes to enhance the raw material. The deep connection to the land is the foundation of the project and ensures careful vineyard management and strict respect for the quality of the supplied grapes.

How it is produced

The process begins with must fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C. The extraction phase involves a thirty-day maceration in contact with the skins, essential for ensuring tannic strength. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for twenty-four months in oak barrels, a journey aimed at integrating the polyphenolic structure to maintain a clear varietal expression.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it displays an intense ruby red color, a direct result of prolonged extraction. The nose opens with clear aromas of ripe red fruit, including noticeable notes of currant, raspberry, and blueberry. On the palate it reveals a full body and precise balance, supported by a vigorous tannic texture and great structure that ensure a long and compact finish.

Food pairing

At the table, it truly shines when paired with hearty dishes like egg pasta and red meat main courses. Its strong tannic imprint and structural solidity require dishes able to match its intensity. It is also a good match with medium-aged cheeses, thanks to its natural fullness, which pairs well with concentrated textures and flavors.

When to serve it

It is the ideal choice for a complete meal where a wine of decisive character and great structure is sought. It best shows its qualities during lunches and convivial dinners with meat-based menus. The best moment for tasting revolves around the right food pairing, favoring occasions where the strength and intensity of the sip can be fully appreciated.
