Description
The Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano by Produttori del Barbaresco is the expression of viticulture in the Langhe pre-Alpine hills of southern Piedmont. Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, this wine stands out for its deep connection with the territory of origin, characterized by clayey-limestone soils and a favorable southern exposure.
Fermentation takes place in steel at 30°C for 28 days, with a long maceration on the skins to enhance the structure and aromatic complexity of the wine. Subsequently the wine matures for 30 months in oak barrels, followed by refinement for at least 12 months in the bottle before marketing.
It has a ruby red color. On the nose it offers a rich and complex aroma, with notes of ripe fruit and smoky nuances. In the mouth, it reveals a full body, characterized by excellent aroma, balanced tannins and a mineral and persistent finish.
This wine pairs beautifully with robust first courses, red meats and game. Its structure and complexity make it ideal for bold combinations, capable of enhancing these gastronomic proposals.
