Description

Barbera d’Alba Superiore “Rocche del Santo” by Agricola Brandini originates in the La Morra area from 100% Barbera grapes, offering a deep and distinctive interpretation of this classic Piedmontese variety. This wine combines intensity and balance, expressing the richness of its terroir with an elegant and structured style.

The winemaking process includes destemming of the grapes, followed by maceration and spontaneous fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The aging takes place in large barrels for an extended period, allowing the wine to develop complexity and harmony before bottling.

It shows an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it is vinous and fruity, enhanced by spicy notes and hints of licorice. On the palate, it is intense and structured, supported by good acidity which gives balance and vibrancy, leading to a persistent finish.

It pairs well with red meats, rich first courses, and aged cheeses.
