Description

Barbera d’Asti “Surì” by Villa Giada is a red wine made from Barbera grapes grown on clay soils of marine origin with a slight presence of sand, conditions that help express freshness and character. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of certified integrated pest management, ensuring quality and respect for the environment.

The winemaking process involves gentle destemming followed by traditional skin maceration for at least 10–12 days at a controlled temperature, to extract color and aromatic components. After bottling, the wine matures for several months lying in bottles in the cellar, completing its evolutionary process.

In the glass, it shows an intense, bright ruby red color. The nose delivers intense and pleasant aromas of fresh fruit, while the palate is characterized by a pleasant freshness, good structure, and a harmonious profile that enhances its drinkability.

It pairs well with appetizers, hearty first courses, important main dishes, and light preparations, making it ideal even when served slightly chilled.
