Barbera d'Alba DOC Lavagna 2015 Rapalino

Barbera d'Alba Lavagna di Rapalino was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Neviglie, in the extraordinary panorama of the Langhe, an ancient wine-growing area surrounded by rolling hills and historic vineyards.

It is produced with local native grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 28 ° C for 10 days, with continuous pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for 12 months and for further 2 months in bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby color. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with elegant hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant notes of cocoa. On the palate it is persuasive and pleasantly explosive, with an acidic trace that blends perfectly with the elegant tannins.

Perfect to accompany red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
