Description
The Barolo Serralunga d'Alba di Vajra is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Cerretta.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested by hand in the month of October. The grapes undergo a long pre-maceration at low temperatures, then the wine ages in barriques at controlled temperature for about 36 months, before being bottled.
This Barolo is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with intense hints of cherries, enriched with pleasant balsamic notes. On the palate it is balanced, with thick tannins and a pleasantly fresh finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with game, roasts and aged cheeses.
