Description

Historic bottle from a winery that helped build the myth of the great wines of the Langhe. The Giacosa family has been cultivating these lands since the beginning of the century and in the 1980s they bought a wonderful parcel in the famous Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba cru.

His interpretation of Barolo is classic, faithful to the best traditions of the area. At the end of the fermentation with long maceration on the skins, the wine matures for a period of over 30 months in large oak barrels and ends the refinement in the bottle.

Splendid and consistent expression of the Serralunga territory, it is garnet red, with an austere and refined profile, characterized by aromas of small red fruits, nuances of officinal herbs, licorice root and delicate spices. Complex and deep, it stretches powerfully towards a finish of great gustatory persistence.

To be combined with braised meat in Barolo, stews or stewed game.
