Description
Barolo Perno Riserva by Elio Sandri is a high quality Piedmontese red wine, produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Perno hamlet of Monforte d'Alba.
Winemaking begins with a manual harvest, followed by fermentation in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. The refinement takes place in large oak barrels for approximately 38 months, guaranteeing complexity and depth to the final wine.
On the palate, Barolo Perno Riserva is powerful and structured, with aromas of red fruit, spices and earthy notes. The tannins are robust but well integrated, giving the wine exceptional elegance and finesse.
Perfect in combination with game, blue cheeses and stewed meats.
