Description

Bas Armagnac 20 Years Old by Baron de Sigognac was born in the French province of Gascogne, in the heart of Bas Armagnac AOC. The wine based on Ugny-Blanc and Bacchus grapes is distilled according to an ancient traditional method in secular copper stills, followed by a long aging in barriques and then in oak barrels, dated 1920, for at least 20 years.

The Bas Armagnac of the Baron de Sigognac is characterized by a pale amber color, tending to golden. The nose opens with a powerful and elegant bouquet, in which aromas of coffee and cocoa stand out. On the palate it is sweet, soft and pasty, with a soft finish of vanilla and toasted almonds.

Ideal to be consumed in small sips at the end of the meal, this Armagnac is indicated as a meditation distillate. It can be used as an ingredient for the preparation of cocktails.
