Description

Il Bolgheri Rosso Il Seggio di Poggio al Tesoro is located in its own vineyards located in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno. The name is a reference to the river of the same name, the Seggio, which flows along the entire Bolgheri area.

This wine is produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 15 months in partially new French oak barrels.

With an intense ruby red color, it is a wine with intense aromas of blueberry and cherry, enriched by characteristic mineral and spicy notes. The taste includes sensations of balance and softness, which accompany towards a clean, long and elegant finish.

Suitable for pairing with roast meats and game.
