Description

The Toscana Rosato Cassiopea di Poggio al Tesoro was born in the Le Sondraie vineyard, located in the heart of the Bolgheri area.

It is obtained from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, harvested by hand in the first days of September. A soft pressing of the whole grapes is followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine matures on the fine lees and refines for a further month in the bottle before being released on the market.

Of an intense pink color with violet reflections, it expresses exquisite notes of blackberry and raspberry on the nose, enriched by a pleasant spiciness. Fresh and satisfying on the palate, very light.

Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with bruschetta, fish dishes, light cold cuts and creamy cheeses. Recommended in the company of a good Margherita pizza.
