Marasca cherry in spirit on the nose, a pleasant spiciness of fresh pepper in the background, the mouth is dense and has savory tannins, with a pleasant length finish, with a return of balsamic notes.

The Bolgheri Rosso of the Caccia al Palazzo line of Tenuta Di Vaira is born in vineyards located in the Livorno municipality of Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with prolonged maceration in contact with the skins. Subsequently the wine ages for 10 months in French oak barrels before being bottled.

It has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with hints of cherry in the foreground, followed by deep mineral notes in the background. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, pleasantly savory, with well integrated tannins that accompany towards a persistent finish in which the fruity notes return.

Perfect to accompany noble poultry and roast meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
