Description

Barone Ricasoli's Bolgheri Superiore Astuto was born in vineyards located on the coast of central Tuscany.

It is produced 50% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 30% with Merlot grapes, 10% with Petit Verdot and 10% with Cabernet Franc, vinified in stainless steel with temperature control. The wine is then placed in French oak barriques, where it ages for 18 months, then it is aged in bottle for another 10 months before being placed on the market.

It has an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is clean and wide, with a harmonious combination of notes of red and elegant fruits and dense nuances of spices, enriched by herbaceous aromas and toasted and vanilla hints. On the palate it is warm and mature, with a good flavor.

Perfect to accompany red meat dishes, game and game, it is ideal in combination with stewed meats and aged cheeses.
