Description

The Bourgogne AOC Clos du Château Château de Meursault is created only from Chardonnay grapes harvested and selected in the vineyards of the Château.

The bunches of Chardonnay, pressed into whole bunches, give a fragrant and elegant wine, aged on the noble lees in new oak barrels (35%) and then aged in oak barrels for 1-2 years and in stainless steel tanks for further 15-19 months.

The bright golden color promises intense aromas, of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers and toasted bread with butter, and anticipates an elegant and mineral taste, with a pleasant woody note that accompanies towards a balanced and very long finish.

A complex and fascinating white, which will give its best with a menu of fish, delicious seafood and spiced or grilled white meats. Ideal for a romantic candlelit dinner.
