Description
Brunello di Montalcino San Giovanni Battista by Leonardo da Vinci is produced from vineyards located on the hills of Montalcino and is part of the "I Capolavori" line.
The wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 20-25 days. The wine is then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 30 months, followed by 6 months in the bottle.
In the glass, the wine has a ruby red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it offers notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, cherries, and spices. The palate is full, structured, and persistent.
San Giovanni Battista pairs excellently with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
