Description

Podere Uccelliera is located near Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in the southern area of the Montalcino hill, in an area with a temperate and mild climate, which favors an excellent ripening of Sangiovese. The vines are located at an altitude between 200 and 350 meters, on medium-textured soils with abundant presence of skeleton.

At the end of the harvest operations, we proceed to the classic vinification with maceration on the skins. The wine ages for a period of 24-36 months in large oak barrels and ends the refinement with at least 6 months in the bottle.

It has a bright ruby red, with a floral bouquet, aromas of cherry and soft spices. The sip is long and evolved, with fine tannins, rich fruit, a fresh and harmonious finish.

To be paired with game or roasted red meats.
