Description
Taittinger's Comtes de Champagne is a blanc de blancs champagne made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, harvested exclusively from the most beautiful Grands Crus parcels of the renowned Côte des Blancs: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus and Bergeres-les-Vertus. The sparkling wine ages on its lees for 8-10 years in the Gallo-Roman cellars of Saint-Nicaise de Reims.
Pale yellow in color and with a perlage that makes you dream for finesse, it captivates the nose with elegant aromas of fresh fruit, among which a captivating note of mandarin becomes more incisive, leaving room for the evolution of more complex hints that refer to the raisins and candied fruit. A mature and refined champagne, pleasantly creamy, with mineral touches.
Ideal to celebrate a special occasion, it goes perfectly with fish or seafood appetizers.
