Description

What kind of wine is it

The Champagne Premier Cru Brut from Petite Vallée is made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Crafted with the Champenoise Method, its final style is complex and enhanced by a fine and elegant perlage. It is a faithful expression of its terroir, suitable both as an aperitif and to be enjoyed throughout a meal.

Where it comes from

This wine is born in the renowned Champagne region of France, originating from Premier Cru classified vineyards. The parcels extend through the communes of Chigny les Roses, Ludes, Sermiers, Mailly-Champagne, and Verzenay. This geographical origin grants the Brut a balanced and fresh structure while retaining a clear character. Being from these prestigious villages ensures a rigorous quality standard in the glass.

How it is produced

Vinification starts with the harvest of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, which are gently whole-cluster pressed. The must then ferments in thermo-controlled steel tanks to preserve the aromatic fragrance. The prise de mousse in the bottle follows the Champenoise Method and continues with aging for at least ten years, shaping the wine’s tasting finesse.

Tasting notes

The glass reveals a brilliant golden color laced with fine bubbles. The bouquet offers hints of white flowers and fruit, joined by notes of mint and slight touches of ash. On the palate it is round and enveloping, with a long and persistent finish that balances aromatic intensity and smoothness.

Food pairings

The versatility of this cuvée makes it ideal for pairings throughout a meal, matching seamlessly with both seafood and land-based dishes. The clear and fine effervescence supports seafood-based preparations or delicate white meats. For a harmonious regional match, it is recommended with a quiche lorraine.

When to serve it

This bottle is the right choice to enrich any discerning table, perfect for a well-curated aperitif or a full lunch. The extended maturation makes it ideal for those seeking a defined and persistent taste experience. It shines with character in menus alternating seafood and meat, guaranteeing a pleasant gustatory continuity that sets the pace for the meal.
