Description

The Chassagne-Montrachet La Goujonne by Domaine Hubert-Lamy is a refined expression of the great terroir of Burgundy. The Vieilles Vignes mention is due to the vineyards from which it originates, which are over 70 years old.

It is obtained from only Pinot Noir grapes, the result of careful manual harvesting. Following destemming, fermentation takes place in steel with 20 days of maceration in contact with the skins. The wine then ages in oak barrels for 12-18 months.

It has a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose it offers complex aromas of ripe red fruits and purples, enriched by spicy nuances and a subtle hint of oak. In the mouth it stands out for its silky and round consistency.

It goes very well with dishes based on noble poultry or game.
