Description
The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Madonnino della Pieve di Castelvecchi was born in vineyards located on the highest hills of Radda in Chianti.
It is produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes, carefully harvested by hand. The must ferments with maceration on the skins for 40 days. Subsequently the wine undergoes an aging of 42 months, of which 24 in wood.
The Madonnino della Pieve di Castelvecchi has a ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with fruity hints, enriched with notes of spices such as vanilla and pepper. On the palate it is balanced and structured, with a long and pleasantly satisfying finish.
Excellent in combination with braised or barbecued red meats, it is ideal with game or as a meditation wine.
