Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva Strada al Sasso of the Tenuta di Arceno is born in vineyards located in the rolling hills of the Chianti Classico, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, just outside Siena.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested between September and October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 10-12 months, and for further 6 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of plums, enriched with pleasant hints of fresh roses. On the palate it is structured, with persistent tannins and a long and pleasantly spicy finish.

Perfect to accompany meat ragout dishes, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses.
