Description
The Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore Riserva of the A 'Vita company is located in the oldest organic vineyard, located in the hills of Cirò, not far from the shores of the Ionian Sea.
It is obtained from pure Gaglioppo grapes, the harvesting of which is done entirely by hand once the grapes have fully ripened. After 2 months of maceration of the must, extracted by soft pressing of the bunches, fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel vats. The wine ages in large oak barrels for 12 months and in steel for a further 24 months before being bottled.
It has a medium intensity ruby red color. The nose gives intense aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries in jam, enriched with pleasant notes of orange peel. On the palate it reveals savory and dry, with a fresh and persistent finish.Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it goes well with dishes based on legumes and aged cheeses.
